Assistant Regulatory Affairs Manager

BUSINESS PARTNER

• Proactively partner with the business in business strategic planning and provide innovative regulatory strategies/direction to the business. She/he/they will ensure that regulatory requirements of markets are understood and incorporated into the business planning and execution.
• Ensure all products marketed in Vietnam comply with Cosmetic Law/Regulations.
• Partner with marketing and serve as regulatory counsel in determinations of regulatory risk for products and claims.
• Work with global and regional colleagues to identify core processes and support required to ensure projects can be speedy implemented in Vietnam with strong commercial impact.
• Be spokesperson for ELC Vietnam with Government Agency (FDA) and Trade Association.

EXTERNAL ENGAGEMENT

• Work closely with local and regional management to identify opportunities and ensure that the voice of ELC is being heard whenever there is a change in the regulatory policies in Vietnam.
• Develop and maintain the relationship and trust with local Regulatory Agencies and other external bodies in line with the business ethics and priorities.

Qualifications

• Education: University degree in Pharmaceutical Science majoring in Chemistry or Pharmacy
• Minimum Years of experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with FDA registration, customs clearance, supply chain and logistics management
• Additional Job Specifications (e.g., physical demands, working conditions, equipment/machinery, specific skills, etc.):
  • Appropriate Regulatory Affairs experience with minimum of 4 years spent within a cosmetic, pharmaceutical or consumer health or personal care company
  • Good knowledge of skincare, consumer products technology
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Have Leadership and Management potential
  • Full command of English language
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
