Job Description
Assistant Technician – Chemical Laboratory (non‑food) (6‑month contract)

Your Tasks
- Perform chemical analysis and evaluations to ensure compliance to international standards within the turnaround time
- Prepare and set‑up analytical instruments as assigned
- Conduct on‑site sampling or testing following requirements
- Conduct maintenance and calibration of instruments
- Interpret test results, prepare test reports, along with completing other related administrative work
- Maintain and update laboratory records and documentation
- Be responsible for all technical and quality aspects of testing activities in the Lab as authorized or assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor
- Report daily testing activities to Reporting Officer and Lab Managers
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the line manager
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Analysis Chemistry/ Chemical Technology or in a relevant field.
- Experience with specialized laboratory equipment or techniques such as <GC / GC–MS / HPLC / ICP–OES / ICP–MS / FTIR>, and knowledge of ISO17025 Quality Management System are preferable
- English Communication at B level or its equivalent
- Result‑oriented and service‑driven with strong initiative and effective communication skills
- A proactive team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and meet timelines
