Introduction
Drive hotel performance across Vietnam, Laos and the Maldives by turning IHG's global scale, tools and resources into practical commercial results. This role offers the opportunity to lead commercial and marketing planning across three distinct markets, working closely with General Managers and hotel Sales and Marketing leaders. If you enjoy influencing, coaching and building high‑performing teams across multiple properties, this is a role where you can make a visible impact.
Your day to day
- Partner with hotel leadership and the Revenue Lead to run business reviews and develop commercial strategies and country plans for Vietnam, Laos and the Maldives.
- Work with the Director of Commercial and Marketing teams to create and deliver market marketing plans, including partnerships and PR.
- Support key account strategies, RFPs, MICE, Leisure and TPI accounts, and the pursuit of new business for hotels, alongside IHG's regional sales teams.
- Drive the distribution agenda in market, including rate parity and OTA content scores, and support the launch and adoption of new and existing IHG tools through hotel champions.
- Coach and develop hotel Sales and Marketing teams, supporting talent identification, new hotel openings and training plans, and sharing market and competitor insights.
What we need from you
- Hotel Director of Sales and Marketing or corporate commercial experience, ideally with multi‑property initiatives across different markets and regions in Vietnam, Laos and the Maldives.
- Strong commercial skills across sales, marketing, PR, distribution channels and revenue management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior management.
- Cultural understanding of Vietnam, Laos and the Maldives, including their regions.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
