Job description: You will be part of our Contract Logistics team, adding your knowledge + perspective to the delivery of customer + operational excellence.
Your tasks and responsibilities
Your will be responsible for supporting the team with our daily activities + projects. You will do this by collaborating with various key stakeholders while focusing on the following key tasks.
- Act as the primary coordinator for daily customs‑related operational activities under the supervision.
- Receive, review, and follow up customs clearance requests from customers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and operational teams to ensure smooth customs clearance and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and maintain customs‑related documents, records, permits, declarations, and support files as required.
- Monitor customs clearance status and proactively communicate shipment updates, delays, and exceptions to relevant parties.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of customs SOPs, Working Instructions (WI), and process documentation.
- Track changes in customs regulations and communicate relevant updates to the operations team.
- Maintain customs KPI reports, clearance trackers, and operational dashboards.
- Escalate complex customs issues, compliance concerns, or exception cases to supervisors for guidance and resolution.
- Gradually take ownership of routine customs activities to ensure business continuity.
