Job Summary
The Plant Controller covers finance planning and operating for the Vietnam entity. Works together with the accounting manager to oversee all financial and fiscal activities and ensures compliance of the operations of the Vietnam entity.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for oversight of finance and reporting for the Vietnam entity
- Responsible for finance book closing, tax filing and statutory reporting requirements for the Vietnam entity
- Key business partner to the Vietnam plant and functional leaders
- Supervise legal and compliance, and monitor day‑to‑day finance operations
- Ensure that the legal entity complies with US GAAP and statutory reporting
- Conduct planning, forecasting, and provide added‑value analysis
- Effective delivery of the plant controllership role
Education, Work Experience, Skills, Certificates
- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Business and related field
- Minimum 8‑year experience in Finance / Audit related functions with at least 3 years in a management position
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, SAP or ERP is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential
- Strong influencing power and accountability
- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and related processes, tax compliance, treasury management
- Fluent (written and spoken) in English is required
- Big 4 experience is a plus
- CPA, CIA, or relevant equivalent certification preferred
