Manufacturing Engineering: Process Engineering
- Analyzes situations and/or data to resolve production and/or quality related problems
- Monitors KPI metrics trend and assures continuous improvement through data management and process enhancements
- Supports plant business needs using standard process where possible and customized solutions where necessary. Collaborates with Project Engineer to determine the best approach to meet the plant and/or customer needs
- Completes DOE’s and implements SPC where necessary
- Understands 8D concepts and their use
- Performs PFMEA to determine the manufacturing risks, develop mitigation plans as necessary
Manufacturing Engineering: Equipment Engineering
- Develops and maintains guideline/visual aids for equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnoses and resolves equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules
- Identifies opportunities for equipment upgrades/enhancement and process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Participates in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Qualifies equipment after installation and performs yearly qualification
- Maintains detailed records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, repair histories and spare parts
- Provides training and support to production staff, ME technicians on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment
- Ensures all equipment and processes comply with industry standards, safety and regulatory requirements
Manufacturing Engineering : DFM
- Analyzes PCB and PCBA designs to ensure they meet manufacturing capabilities and constraints, based on Jabil DFx Guideline
- Conducts Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis to identify potential risks and recommend improvements
- Works closely with design engineers, manufacturing engineers to resolve design and production challenges
- Maintains site procedure and feedback for global DFM council and documentation for PCB designs
