In this role, you will be instrumental in the Powertrain/Thermal Technical Center, using your extensive skills to process and analyze large volumes of data. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including Engineering, Quality Control and VINFAST suppliers, to create cutting-edge solutions that will drive the future of transportation.
- Lead EMS emission development.
- Own SOR, DFMEA and calibration.
- Lead lambda, catalyst/GPF, catalyst heating, in-vehicle emission control for exhaust and evaporative emissions and base-model calibration/control.
- Define and validate NEW/FUL/OBD exhaust systems.
- Define and validate NEW and aged evaporative system components.
- Optimize after-treatment settings for performance and emissions.
- Participate in test-bed, chassis dyno, vehicle, road and environmental testing.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience for Lead Engineer
- 10+ years of experience for Management
- Strong experience in EMS software & calibration.
- Hands‑on experience with lambda sensors, catalyst & GPF calibration/control.
- Experience in catalyst heating, base models, OBD/OBM and IUPR strategies.
- Experience with cold start, catalyst warm‑up and GPF regeneration.
- Strong knowledge of hot/cold/altitude power maps and lambda control.
- Good knowledge of ICE and engine auxiliaries.
- Good understanding of homologation and emission regulations.
