About the Job
Responsible for managing daily accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations, and providing timely financial information to support business operations and decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and verify all accounting transactions accurately and timely in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and company policies.
- Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and inventory accounting records.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare accounting vouchers and ensure proper supporting documentation.
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements.
- Support budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide financial data and analysis to management when required.
- Assist in preparing group reporting packages according to corporate requirements.
- Prepare and submit VAT, PIT, FCT and CIT declarations in compliance with local regulations.
- Ensure timely tax payments and compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with tax authorities during inspections or audits.
- Keep updated with changes in tax and accounting regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documents and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and company policies.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain proper filing and retention of accounting documents.
- Assist in ad hoc finance projects and reporting assignments.
- Perform other tasks assigned by Finance Manager.
About the Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and tax regulations.
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with labor‑related accounting and statutory compliance.
