VinFast is looking for an experienced Fuel Supply / Evaporative System Manager / Lead Engineer to lead fuel supply and evaporative system design and development activities, with technical ownership from concept definition through validation and product release.
Key Responsibilities
- Own fuel supply and evaporative system design, performance, durability, and reliability, including fuel tank, pumps, fuel lines, canister, EVAP components, sensors, and injectors.
- Lead fuel-system design and development activities, including SOR, SPB, DFMEA, DVP&R, and engineering release.
- Lead technical reviews, validation, issue resolution, and design optimization.
- Lead suppliers and system integration activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including ICE, Powertrain, Calibration, NVH, Thermal, Emissions, Testing, Manufacturing, and Quality.
- Drive fuel-system performance, durability, reliability, emissions, and safety targets throughout the development program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant Fuel System / Powertrain experience for Lead Engineer level; 10+ years for Manager level.
- Solid experience in:
- LP/HP fuel delivery systems
- Fuel pumps, sensors, canister, and evaporative systems
- Fuel tank, fuel lines, pipes, and connections
- Fuel injectors and fuel-system components
- Flex-fuel, LPG, or alternative fuel systems
- Good knowledge of ICE and engine auxiliaries.
- Good understanding of full ICE / REEV integration.
- Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, SOR/SPB, supplier management, and product release.
- Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
