Job Description
You will be responsible for:
During Pre‑opening phase:
- Drive pre‑opening timelines and ensure operational readiness.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, CAPEX and cost controls.
- Support commercial strategy, positioning and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Establish SOPs, controls and risk‑management frameworks.
- Recruit, build and train a high‑performing team.
- Oversee brand standards, procurement and final readiness inspections.
Upon successful opening of the hotel:
- Lead the overall management and strategic direction of the property and support all departments in the achievement of operational targets.
- Maximize the property in terms of profit and management of financials.
- Ensure full compliance with operating controls and legislation in all areas of the business.
- Recruit and retain a high‑performing team.
- Champion employee engagement and promote a collaborative and inclusive environment where all employees are encouraged to provide input.
- Develop relationships within the local community.
- Drive service culture.
- Maintain product and service quality standards to exceed guest expectations.
- Promote the brand and ensure all brand essentials and standards are in place and executed consistently.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- At least 8 years experience in luxury hotel management including pre‑opening experience.
- Strong educational background including a degree.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Good understanding of the local market and previous work experience in Vietnam is an advantage.
- Experience in managing relationships with hotel owners.
