Job Description
You will be responsible for:
During Pre-opening phase:
- Drive pre-opening timelines and ensure operational readiness
- Manage budgets, forecasts, CAPEX and cost controls
- Support commercial strategy, positioning and pricing
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Establish SOPs, controls and risk management frameworks
- Recruit, build and train a high-performing team
- Oversee brand standards, procurement and final readiness inspections
Upon successful opening of the hotel:
- Lead the overall management and strategic direction of the property and support all departments in the achievement of operational targets
- Maximize the property in terms of profit and management of financials
- Ensure full compliance with operating controls and legislation in all areas of the business
- Recruit and retain a high-performing team
- Champion employee engagement and promote a collaborative and inclusive environment where all employees are encouraged to provide input
- Develop relationships within the local community
- Driving service culture
- Maintain product and service quality standards to exceed guest expectations
- Promote the brand and ensure all brand essentials and standards are in place and executed consistently.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years experience in luxury hotel management including pre-opening experience
- Strong educational background including a degree
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken
- Good understanding of the local market and previous work experience in Vietnam is an advantage
- Experience in managing relationships with hotel owners
