Purpose of assignment
To provide high‑quality, ethically produced photography packages showcasing UNICEF‑supported programmes and results for children in Viet Nam.
Objectives
- Produce complete photography packages per UNICEF guidelines.
- Provide high‑resolution, captioned, ethically collected imagery.
- Support rapid‑response missions, including emergencies.
Major Tasks
- Attend mission briefings.
- Mobilise on short notice.
- Travel to remote areas; operate drone when required.
- Capture RAW + JPEG high‑res images (24–36 MP).
- Ensure compliance with UNICEF child safeguarding and consent.
- Provide edited, captioned, metadata‑complete images.
Deliverables
- High‑quality RAW + JPEG images.
- Edited selections.
- Captions in English.
- Signed consent forms.
- Short‑form video snippets when required.
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent in multimedia/communication/marketing.
- Minimum five years of progressive relevant experience in photography and photo editing.
- Proven experience photographing children, communities, and sensitive contexts in Viet Nam.
- Good quality of previous work.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and make sound decisions.
- Flexibility for rapid deployment on short notice.
- Fluent English (verbal and written).
Evaluation Criteria
Technical evaluation (80 points)
- Professional qualifications – 10 points.
- Relevant professional experience – 20 points.
- Technical capacity & equipment – 20 points.
- Portfolio quality & storytelling – 20 points.
- Language, interpersonal skills and availability – 10 points.
Financial evaluation (20 points)
- Lowest financial proposal receives maximum points; others receive points in inverse proportion.

Additional Notes
- BSAFE (English) course is mandatory if travel fees are included.
