About the Opportunity
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Integration Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join a large‑scale core banking transformation program based in Hoan Kiem.
This position will take ownership of the integration design end‑to‑end across all core banking domains—Payments, Trade Finance, Lending, General Ledger (GL), and Markets—ensuring a coherent, well‑documented integration architecture between the core banking platform and its upstream/downstream ecosystem. The role will work closely with product SMEs, business stakeholders, the Solution Architecture team, and platform vendors.
This is a highly hands‑on implementation role suitable for someone who desires working in a dynamic, multi‑vendor environment, where the Integration SME is expected not just to advise, but to actively participate in delivering the transformation. The candidate must be comfortable working directly with product vendors to challenge, validate, and finalize the To‑Be system design, acting as the definitive cross‑domain integration authority on the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for cross‑domain integration architecture during requirement analysis, solution design, build, testing, and cutover phases.
- Engage directly with product vendors and product SMEs (Trade, ACBS, CASA/Common Services, Payments, Murex) to align on integration touchpoints and drive decisions on the To‑Be integration design.
- Lead workshops with business stakeholders, interface teams, the Solution Architecture team, and platform vendors to gather, validate, and finalize integration requirements.
- Own the preparation of Interface Specification Documents (ISDs) and integration architecture artifacts, and drive review and sign‑off with all upstream and downstream teams.
- Coordinate integration testing (SIT/end‑to‑end) across domains, triage cross‑system defects, and drive rapid resolution with vendors and delivery teams.
- Support cutover planning and hypercare across all integrated domains through go‑live.
- Manage stakeholders across business, technology, and vendor teams, and proactively escalate cross‑domain integration risks and issues.
Project Information & Logistics
- Project Scale: Large‑scale core banking transformation.
- Working Location: Onsite in Hoan Kiem District.
- Working Schedule: 5 days/week. During the initial phase, a flexible hybrid model is offered (3 days working at the office and 2 days working remotely).
- Fast‑tracked Recruitment: Streamlined 2‑round interview process, with feedback expected within less than one week after completing the final round.
