IT Manager

Build Opensend's IT and Security Operations
Opensend is an identity and enrichment platform for ecommerce brands. We help marketers recognize anonymous shoppers and act on that insight across email, SMS, advertising and analytics. We are bootstrapped, profitable, beyond USD 10 million in ARR, and serve close to 1,000 customers with a team of about 65. Our team works across more than nine countries.
We are hiring our first IT Manager. You will own identity and access, devices, our software inventory and the IT controls in our SOC 2 program. You will work directly with our Director of Business Operations and People and our CTO, and your work will shape how securely and efficiently the whole company runs.
This is not a help-desk role. You will close an access gap today, write the policy behind it tomorrow, and automate it next month.
What You Will Own
- Our identity provider, SSO and MFA across Google Workspace, Slack and our business tools.
- Onboarding and offboarding for employees, contractors and agency partners in many countries, including same-day access removal.
- Quarterly access reviews and the evidence that proves our controls work.
- Device standards, device management and endpoint security.
- A complete inventory of our software and vendors, and the consolidation that removes duplicate tools and cost.
- The corporate IT controls inside our SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 program.
- The technical evaluation and integration of our new HRIS.
What Makes This Role Different
You will build the function rather than inherit it. Leadership has made SOC 2 a company priority with fixed dates, so your work has visibility and support. You will work with a distributed, international team and solve access problems that larger companies hand to whole departments.
What You Bring
- Six or more years in IT operations or systems administration, including corporate IT ownership at a software company.
- Hands‑on experience with Google Workspace and an identity provider such as Okta, JumpCloud or Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience delivering evidence for SOC 2, ISO 27001 or a similar audit.
- Experience managing access for a remote or contractor‑heavy workforce.
- Experience with device management tools such as Jamf, Kandji, Intune or JumpCloud.
- Professional English, written and spoken, and comfort working with US‑based leaders.
- The habit of automating repeat work with scripts or workflow tools.
Experience That Will Help You Stand Out
- Vanta, Drata, Secureframe or similar compliance platforms.
- Selecting or integrating an HRIS with an identity provider.
- Leading a measurable software consolidation.
- Security certifications such as Security+ or Okta Administrator.
You Will Probably Thrive Here If
You like knowing exactly who has access to what, and you can prove it. You are comfortable working independently across time zones, you write things down, and you would rather fix the process than repeat the task.
Compensation
Base salary: USD 30,000 to 48,000 per year, paid in VND, plus 13th-month.
