Job description
As a Japanese IT Business Analyst, you will collaborate with our Japanese clients and delivery teams to discover and define requirements, form a vision, and successfully deliver solutions to end users. This role will work closely with the Project Manager to monitor and control the output quality.
What you’ll be doing
- Gather, define, and document business, user requirements with Japanese, or English‑speaking stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into solution specifications, ensuring alignment between business and project teams.
- Analyze, manage and document requirements in a manner that is acceptable to both business and technology stakeholders.
- Prepare technical documents like specifications, manuals, analysis reports, and business analysis plans.
- Define external interfaces, constraints, and non‑functional requirements.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and project teams.
What you bring to the team
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in software development, information technology or related fields.
- At least 5 years of Business Analyst experience, including writing user stories, requirement specification, creating mock‑up, document, giving presentations, and working directly with customers.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Basic programming/software development knowledge.
- Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or higher is required.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Having experience in Supply Chain is a plus.
