Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead process engineering projects for 800G 2x400G BBLC optical modules in Vietnam, focusing on product transfer first. Then monitoring, optimization, as well as yield improvement.
- Collaborate with NPI and R&D and cross‑functional teams to complete product transfer from pilot production to mass production, ensuring stable mass production and supporting continuous product upgrade as R&D and PLM’s request.
- Collect and analyze product data including yield performance, parameter distribution, SPC and DOE data, and utilize analytical tools to drive insights on complex process issues and drive root cause resolution.
- Continuous product optimization & feedback integration.
- Establish and maintain product documentation, BOM and Drawings and coordinate with cross‑functional teams. Support and coordinate with PLM and QA teams with the lifecycle control.
- Lead the product engineering team, including personnel recruitment, performance tracking and capacity improvement.
- Conduct systematic on‑the‑job training for new team members.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering (optoelectronics is primary; optical, electrical, or a related field is acceptable)
- 7+ years of experience of product engineering experience (Optical module preferred)
- Strong understanding of optical module working principles, manufacturing processes, defect analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
Skills
- Leading team: manage member, assign task/pull Knowledge, decision
- Development methodology: understand how to development product/process, RACI, risk management, FMEA, ARM, DOE, cost…
- Cost control: manage BOM, optimize process, improve Yield, reduce HPU and scrap continuously.
Working Conditions
- Working in the office & cleanroom, full‑time in manufacturing plants.
