DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Critical Project
- Lead one of NPI critical project Yield, cost, delivery meet target. Drive FA, including fails from production, qual, DMR units from module returns, make rework yield improved.
- Coordinate R&D to make design optimization well qualified and executed smoothly for product Reliability improvement and cost down.
2. Coach Role
- Coach junior engineers, build up team with both technical capability and big vision able to show team strength, and with extended working scopes across CoC, OSA, SFA and testing through intensive failure analysis experiences.
3. Supervision, Management and Leadership
- Technically Supervise NPI projects execution. Ensure technical issue timely addressed and resolved. Direct team for goal setting, and supervise Projects running on-track and meet yield, HPU, cost target.
- Ensure your team is staffed, motivated, inspired, engaged and empowered to deliver a high and sustainable performance level in an ever changing environment at a cost level the organization can sustain and reflects market realities.
- Ensure you have the right people in the right jobs, by consistently using proper interview and selection techniques and methodologies throughout your organization.
- Ensure a learning environment is in place and your team is trained and developed to consistently achieve your organization’s expectations in both the short and long terms.
4. Human Resources/ Administrative
- All department information systems, records, reports and metrics are accurate and generated on time.
- Company policy is followed regarding all safety, environmental and ergonomic requirements.
- Company Technology Control Plan, IP protection and Export Compliance requirements are understood and properly followed.
- A high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, competency, and quality is established and maintained.
REQUIREMENTS
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science is required. Major in Physics, Applied Physics, optics, optical communication, Materials Science & Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- An advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) is an advantage.
- Working Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree: 7 years
- Master’s degree: 5 years
- Ph.D.: 3 years;
- Experience in NPI or Engineering within an international manufacturing environment
