Responsibility
The consultant will be responsible for:
- Manage and support z/OS TCP/IP, VTAM, SNA, and network connectivity.
- Troubleshoot complex mainframe network, routing, firewall, DNS, and connectivity issues.
- Configure and support TLS/SSL, AT-TLS, certificates, FTP/SFTP, and SSH.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity.
- Lead incident resolution, RCA, and problem management.
- Design and implement highly available and secure network solutions.
- Support DR, migrations, upgrades, and modernization projects.
- Coordinate with network, security, application, and infrastructure teams.
Practical Information About the Assignment
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Until February 2027, with a strong possibility of a 1–2 month extension.
- Workload: Full-time (FTE), overlap CET timezone
- Work Setup: Hybrid or remote
