Job Overview
Investors need more than prices; they need to find, compare and understand what they're looking at. You'll turn Gate's market, company, financial, valuation and event data into discovery and research tools for stocks, ETFs, indices, options and wider TradFi markets. Within a year, users will be able to discover and research markets on Gate with tools they'd otherwise go elsewhere for, all in one place.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design and launch stock and TradFi market data products, including market lists, detail pages, sectors, IPOs, institutional holdings, economic calendars, unusual activity, sentiment, comparisons, screeners and event research
- Turn company profiles, financials, valuation, analyst estimates, holdings and corporate actions into clear, easy‑to‑understand information, not just raw fields
- Benchmark leading trading and research platforms, map capability and data gaps, and define precise data requirements for the data team
- Work with search, charting and trading teams on discovery and SEO pages, and with compliance on data display, risk disclosures and regional boundaries
- Set metrics and reviews covering traffic, retention, research module usage and watchlist adoption
Qualifications
- You've built products in stocks, brokerage, financial data terminals or investment research
- You understand market data rules and fundamentals, including trading sessions, price adjustment, dividends, data latency, financial statements and valuation
- You design from the investor's task, separate business needs from underlying data needs, and track how your modules are actually used
- You're sensitive to data accuracy, market differences, user risk and compliance, and drive work across design, engineering, data and legal teams
Bonus:
- Experience with smart screeners, factor screening or AI‑driven research tools
- Experience with financial data APIs, or SEO and growth for market data pages
