Position Overview

We’re looking for a Marketing Associate to own promotional copy and social content execution for Everfit Academy, our free educational hub for health and fitness professionals, reporting to the Head of Everfit Academy.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes direction from the Head of Everfit Academy on strategy and messaging and turns it into finished, high‑quality output fast. You'll write cross‑channel promotional copy for webinars, courses, and the Academy newsletter, and you'll personally cut and edit existing webinar and course recordings into short‑form social content, Instagram clips, YouTube‑length cuts, and preview videos. You'll need a real feel for what makes social content work: spotting the moments worth cutting, pacing a post, writing a caption that lands, and the judgment to execute quickly. You'll also pick up general marketing tasks as needed: project‑managing design and asset production, supporting growth‑focused distribution, and pulling data to inform what's working.

Your impact

Cross‑channel promotional copy: Draft and execute promotional copy for webinars, new content and courses, and the monthly Academy newsletter across email, in‑app, and social channels, based on direction from the Academy lead on messaging and positioning.
Hands‑on social content execution: Cut and edit existing Academy webinar and course recordings into short‑form content for reuse across Instagram, YouTube‑length cuts, and short preview clips. This work is done yourself, not handed off to a team.
Growth‑focused distribution: Promote Academy webinars, courses, and content across channels to bring more core Everfit users into the Academy, based on direction from the Academy lead on priorities and audiences.
Marketing performance analysis: Track how campaigns, content, and channels perform, and turn the results into clear recommendations that shape what we promote, to whom, and how.

Who you are

Strong copywriting skills, without being overly reliant on AI tools to produce finished copy.
A genuine, hands‑on ability to edit videos yourself: cutting webinar and course recordings into clips that work for Instagram, longer YouTube cuts, and short previews, with a real sense of pacing, hooks, and structure.
Comfort working from marked‑up direction (flagged moments, timestamps, notes on what matters) and personally producing the finished edit, rather than coordinating a team to do it.
Experience with email/lifecycle tools (e.g., Iterable) is a plus.
Familiarity with the coaching or fitness industry is a plus, but not required.
