Who we are
- MOLEX, a brand under KOCH Industries with its headquarters in Wichita, Kansas (USA), is one of the world’s leading interconnector manufacturers.
- Since 2007, Molex Vietnam has operated its first factory in Thang Long I IP, Hanoi. We are now expanding with a new high‑tech facility in Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen, backed by a $145 million investment and spanning 100,000 m². This site will manufacture advanced products including high‑speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop injection molds based on product, manufacturing, quality, and tooling requirements, with a focus on robust and production‑ready tooling.
- Develop and maintain tooling designs, specifications, drawings, and related technical documentation required to support fabrication and manufacturing.
- Participate in tooling design reviews and evaluate designs for manufacturability, functionality, and alignment with defined tooling requirements.
- Analyze & drive tooling performance and production issues, identify root causes, and implement design improvements to enhance tool reliability, product quality, productivity, and manufacturing performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support for tooling‑related issues during production and coordinate appropriate design changes where needed.
- Willing to go abroad depending on onsite projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mold design using CAD tools.
- Knowledge of tooling manufacturing/fabrication processes and production support.
- Understanding of precision manufacturing and quality requirements.
General Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in a related engineering field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Business‑level English communication is a plus.
