Your Job
As an Indirect Sourcing Specialist, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies for outside services in Vietnam. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and suppliers to improve commercial value, supplier performance, service quality, and risk management across categories such as engineering, IT, consulting, contingent labor, laboratory, quality, and other professional services.
Our Team
You will be part of the Procurement and Strategic Sourcing organization, partnering with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and corporate functions. You will also collaborate with the Global Category Manager to align local sourcing activities with the broader Outside Services category strategy.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement category strategies and sourcing roadmaps for outsourced services.
- Lead supplier selection, RFQ/RFP processes, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
- Build and manage preferred supplier programs while monitoring supplier performance.
- Identify cost‑saving, process‑improvement, and value‑creation opportunities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand service requirements and develop effective sourcing solutions.
- Manage commercial, legal, intellectual property, and supplier‑related risks through effective contracting and governance.
- Support the Global Category Manager in executing Outside Services strategies at the country level.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement, category management, consulting, or supplier management.
- Knowledge of Vietnam’s services market, including engineering, technical, IT, staffing, and consulting services.
- Experience managing contracts, Statements of Work, and supplier performance.
- Demonstrated negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Vietnamese and English.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Knowledge of Vietnam labor practices and commercial contracting requirements.
- Experience sourcing engineering, consulting, IT, staffing, laboratory, or other professional services.
- Understanding of sourcing governance, supplier risk management, and procurement compliance frameworks.
- Experience supporting regional or global sourcing initiatives.
- Chinese communication skills.
