Project summary

Project Coordinator – Cold chain and Access to Finance for the USDA Food for Progress U.S.-Vietnam Trade in Agriculture and Food Safety Expanded (TAFSE) project. Full‑time, 40 hours per week, based in Hanoi.

Key responsibilities

Support coordination, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder engagement for Components 2 (Strengthen Facilities and Distribution Systems for Perishable Goods) and 3 (Improve Access to Trade and Supply Chain Finance).
Provide operational inputs for stakeholder engagement with government entities, industry associations, and private‑sector stakeholders.
Coordinate, implement, monitor, and follow up on activities under the components, ensuring alignment with annual work plans and GVN requirements.
Monitor progress, identify issues, and support timely resolution.
Facilitate coordination among government agencies, associations, private‑sector stakeholders, project components, the PMU, and the IESC Project Office.
Organize and conduct meetings, workshops, and training activities; prepare agendas, briefing materials, minutes, and follow‑up records.
Consolidate and update information on activity progress; prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad‑hoc reports.
Coordinate the development and maintenance of the Project results and outputs library.
Support implementation and quality assurance of assigned activities; monitor timeliness, quality, and completeness of deliverables.
Provide additional coordination, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and operational support as required.

Qualifications

Vietnamese national.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Economics, Business, Trade, or closely related fields.
Minimum 7 years of experience in economic governance, supply chain, finance, and private‑sector development.
Minimum 7 years of experience with government agencies and private‑sector actors.
Experience in ODA project management; agriculture or agribusiness projects preferred.
Experience coordinating multi‑government agency relationships; prior USG project experience preferred.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Strong diplomatic, communication, follow‑up, multitasking, leadership, integrity, and organizational skills.
Maturity, professionalism, positive attitude, and self‑motivation.
