Job Summary
We are hiring a reporter to be our subject matter expert on money and power in the Middle East.
Responsibilities
- Anchor a weekly newsletter that tracks the intersection of capital and power.
- Help readers understand how Gulf states leverage trillions to become dominant global investors in technology, professional sports, AI, aviation, and infrastructure.
- Serve as a public authority on stage and elsewhere to illuminate these issues.
Requirements
- Commitment to building and nurturing a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Belief in Smart Brevity as the core writing style.
- Reporting experience in a fast‑paced news environment.
- Demonstrated experience landing big scoops and conceptualizing big ideas.
- Strong writing skills for online and newsletters.
- Ability to command a stage and conduct live interviews.
- Experience working across teams to produce quality content.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Location and Employment
- Gulf‑Based, Middle East.
- Employment through a local employer‑of‑record or professional employer organization, subject to local law and work authorization.
