Job Scope
- Design and implement product features using Golang
- Refactor existing products to support microservices architecture
- Define requirements and formulate specifications in partnership with product managers and designers
- Design system architecture based on requirements
- Evaluate quality improvements and implement measures to enhance the service
Development Environment
- Infrastructure: AWS, GCP
- CI/CD: CircleCI, CodeBuild
- Databases: Amazon Aurora (MySQL compatible), Elasticsearch, DynamoDB
- Configuration management: Ansible
- Deployment/Build tools: CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CircleCI, GitHub Actions
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Packer, Terraform
- Monitoring tools: Datadog, Bugsnag
- Other tools: Swagger, Docker, ZenHub, Figma, Slack, Jira
Your Skills and Experience
Must have:
- Alignment with Andpad’s mission and core values
- Over 5 years of experience in developing and operating web services using Golang, AWS, and gRPC
- Proven track record as a technical lead throughout the full project development lifecycle
- Experience in developing and maintaining web applications using relevant frameworks
- Expertise in schema design for RDBMS and key-value stores, including optimizing query performance
- Strong knowledge of web application security principles
- Experience writing test code, including unit tests
- Proficiency in English communication
Nice to have:
- Experience troubleshooting issues by analyzing logs and resolving problems
- Background in developing systems with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience designing architecture based on application requirements and selecting appropriate middleware
- Contributions to open-source software (OSS) and experience publishing code
- Experience with external technical communications such as writing, blogging, or speaking engagements
- Context Engineering experience: ability to provide the right context to AI agents, structure codebases for AI readability, and reduce hallucinations
