.Purpose
This position will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan for agency management and expansion of the AD+ model.
Key Accountabilities
- Act as management consultant to agency leaders, give advice to improve agency management activities.
- Provide support to FWD/FWM (agency leaders) to formulate yearly planning and monitor through regular review.
- Ensure effective training and development programs for agencies under the job holder’s responsibilities, partnering with Agency Academy.
- Run agency‑approved contests within the assigned budget.
- Coordinate between agency force and various administration departments to ensure company objectives are adhered to.
- Recommend product changes/improvements and/or additions to the Product Head.
- Interact as needed with heads of supporting departments such as underwriting, policy services, CRM, claims, finance, etc.
- Manage succession planning for the responsible area by reviewing and identifying potential successors, and implementing training and development activities to ensure effective succession.
- Support the department head in other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications / Experience
- University degree.
- 8–10 years of experience with thorough knowledge in agency management structure and the insurance industry.
- Having a strong local network in the financial related area will be a plus.
Knowledge & Technical Skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills.
