Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute preventive maintenance and daily equipment inspections to ensure optimal performance and minimize breakdowns.
- Prioritize equipment repairs and implement improvement measures to enhance reliability and production efficiency.
- Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage maintenance tools, spare parts inventory, procurement requests, and maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance engineers, team leaders, production, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide technical training and share maintenance best practices to improve team capabilities and equipment reliability.
- Factory Infrastructure Maintenance: Report issues with factory utilities and auxiliary systems to the facility maintenance engineer and provide support as required.
- Production and Technical Support: Troubleshoot equipment issues affecting product quality, improve equipment performance, and participate in key plant projects.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain preventive maintenance records, repair histories, equipment manuals, and shift reports to support troubleshooting, audits, and compliance.
- Safety and 5S: Follow maintenance procedures and LOTO requirements, ensure equipment is safely handed over after maintenance, and maintain workplace cleanliness and 5S standards.
Education & Experience
- At least 6 years of experience in equipment repair, electrical maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
- Graduated from a vocational or college in Electrical, Industrial Electrical, Refrigeration, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.
Skills
- Capable of reading and understanding equipment single‑line drawings in English.
- Able to design control circuits and compile the list of materials required for implementation.
- Make daily machine repair reports using Excel.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem‑solving skills.
