Job Summary

• Define and maintain the project’s test strategy based on the organizational test strategy, considering project‑specific requirements and tailoring of test activities.
• Define and maintain the project’s test plan (content, scheduling, and resources).
• Define test activities and assign them to the test designer of the project team.
• Ensure that testing proceeds hand‑in‑hand with software development in all phases.
• Coach project members regarding quality aspects of engineering processes.
• Clarify and analyze requirements.
• Develop test cases using defined test methods, create high‑level test designs and test specifications.
• Select relevant test cases for regression testing.
• Execute test cases, document results, and report problems.
• Estimate task effort.
• Set up review of test specifications.
• Set up test environment: SIL (Software in Loop) & HIL (Hardware in Loop).

Key Responsibilities

Skill Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in software testing.
• Good knowledge of micro‑controllers and embedded systems.
• Experience in the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with emulators, simulators, debugging, and test equipment.
• Self‑driven and strong interpersonal skills.
• Good teamwork, time management, stakeholder management, and decision‑making skills.
• Good at team engagement, motivation, and competency build‑up.
• Nice to have: programming languages such as C/C++/Python/VBA/Perl, scripting languages, and API programming.

Other Requirements

1. ISTQB Foundation Level Certification is optional but valuable.
2. Additional certifications in embedded systems testing are recommended but not mandatory.
