Our client is a leading multinational electronics manufacturing company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their production team as SMT Production Supervisor.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Monitor the production progress of EPR work orders and coordinate manpower, equipment, and other production resources to ensure smooth execution.
- Drive improvements to reduce FQC and IPQC loss rates by strengthening SOP implementation, minimizing operational errors, improving management tools and production design, and reducing employee‑related mistakes and turnover.
- Monitor and control the scrap rate throughout the production process.
- Identify and improve audit findings while ensuring production activities meet customer requirements and quality expectations.
- Coordinate effectively with relevant departments to maintain smooth and efficient production operations.
- Handle, follow up, and close abnormal production orders, ensuring all production‑line issues are properly resolved.
- Plan and organize training programs for frontline employees, including multi‑skilled workforce development and knowledge transfer.
- Conduct daily inspections and audits of production lines, verify line‑change activities, identify weaknesses in SOPs, and continuously improve production‑line operations and processes.
Requirements
- College or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or another relevant discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar production supervisory position.
- Good communication skills in English or Chinese; Chinese proficiency is preferred.
