We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer (Middle/Senior) to join our engineering team and build reliable, scalable, and high-performance backend applications.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, API development, and database management. Experience with frontend technologies such as React.js and Next.js is a plus, offering opportunities to contribute to full-stack development when needed.
Strong English communication is essential, as you will collaborate directly with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Key Deliverables & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Node.js.
- Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party services.
- Design and manage databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to improving code quality, system reliability, and development workflows.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to performance, security, and system stability.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Frontend Developers, and other team members to deliver high-quality products.
- Participate in technical discussions, system design, and architectural decisions.
- Contribute to application deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- For Senior-level candidates: Lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and help establish engineering standards and best practices.
Requirements
Technical Skills & Experience
- Good to excellent English communication (both written and spoken) – able to work directly with global clients.
- At least 3 years of software development experience, including hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of Node.js fundamentals, including asynchronous programming, the event loop, Promises, and concurrency.
- Experience with at least one backend framework, such as NestJS, Express.js, or Fastify.
- Strong experience designing, developing, and optimizing RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and common backend security practices.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.
- Good problem‑solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to code quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning and continuous improvement.
Nice to Have
- Experience developing frontend applications using React.js and Next.js.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, responsive design, and modern frontend development practices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with microservices architecture, event‑driven systems, message queues, and distributed systems.
