Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop new suppliers for raw material, parts, or indirect items to meet good price, quality, and delivery based on production or department demand.
- Evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts and terms of condition (price, lead time, payment terms, and other requirements) to place an order.
- Audit suppliers to ensure good quality and service.
- Review supplier performance annually.
Data Management
- Maintain and update the supplier database.
- Perform purchase amount and cost‑down analysis monthly.
Master Data Control of SAP
- Control purchasing information for “Parts & Supplier” (price, lead time, MOQ, etc.).
- Control C/O and HS code information.
Environmental Issue Management
- Ensure suppliers meet ROHS, REACH, POPS, and other regulatory requirements.
- Join environmental‑related meetings and take necessary action.
Design Change Management
- Control design changes to suppliers.
- Join design‑change‑related meetings and take necessary action.
Other Duties
- Perform other tasks as requested by the department head or manager.
Additional Job Description
- Ensure the stable supply of goods, quality, and reasonable prices for the company.
- Drive material cost down to meet company targets.
- Control product material cost to meet project targets.
