Job Summary
Novotel Phu Quoc Resort is seeking a Sports & Leisure Operations Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day management of the sports, leisure, health and fitness center.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the sports and leisure center.
- Recruit, train and supervise staff.
- Manage budgets and financial records.
- Organize fitness activities and programmes.
- Develop new facilities.
- Promote and market the business.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Maintain customer service standards.
- Handle enquiries, complaints and emergencies.
- Maintain statistical and financial records.
- Promote the resort’s services and activities.
- Maintain knowledge of all hotel services and features.
- Follow fire and life safety procedures.
- Attend briefings, meetings and trainings.
- Report for duty on time and maintain a clean uniform.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, college diploma or vocational certificate in Hospitality Management, Physical Education or related field.
- Good understanding of health and safety implications for activity programs.
- Good oral proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
- Relevant experience as a fitness instructor, leisure center attendant or recreation assistant.
- Strong communication and customer contact skills.
- Service oriented with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Self‑motivated and energetic.
- Well‑presented and professionally groomed.
