Job Summary
Looking for an experienced engineer to design and develop middleware frameworks and device drivers for ADAS/AD, Gateway, Cockpit/IVI, leveraging Renesas SoC products.
Responsibilities
- Design system architecture and middleware.
- Define requirements for middleware and drivers.
- Develop demos of the software.
- Drive design innovation and best practices across module to system level.
- Manage task/job scheduling, dependencies, pairing, multi‑process, multi‑core, multi‑device operation and communication.
- Handle OS IPC, memory resource management (SMMU/IOMMU) and FFI concepts.
- Develop on Linux, Android, QNX, FreeRTOS using standard frameworks (Linux/V4L2/libcamera/GStreamer, Android/VideoCamera, QNX/Sensor Camera).
- Work with video input/output pipelines (MIPI‑CSI2, Serializer/Deserializer, Image processing).
- Follow SW development processes: ISO26262, Automotive SPICE, CMMI, Agile/Scrum.
- Design complex SW independently and own all aspects within schedule.
- Proficient in architecture, unit level design and implementation.
Requirements
- University degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics.
- For Staff Engineer: minimum 5 years of software experience.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Passion for embedded software development and OOP.
- Understanding of Renesas platforms is a plus.
- Teamwork, proactive, high responsibility, punctual, detail‑oriented.
