Job Summary
Develop strong partnerships with Meta Sourcing, Engineering and Finance teams to build mid‑to‑long‑term demand planning and forecasting strategies.
Responsibilities
- Build an optimized supply plan to support network, data center construction, AI, and compute & storage.
- Collaborate with suppliers for production capacity insights and material alternatives.
- Evaluate trade‑off decisions in limited resource environments to source a reliable supply plan.
- Utilize forecasting models with Meta data science engineering teams, incorporating cost optimization, deployment demands, AI/Generative AI strategies, and various data center and network fabric types.
- Use what‑if planning models (Flexibility simulator) and planning systems for demand (Oracle).
- Manage supply chain processes with planning software.
- Work with Enterprise Products and Analytics teams to enhance automation, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Prepare hardware technical forecasting models and collaborate with engineering partners on demand trade‑offs.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities: excess & obsolescence reduction, design for manufacturing, NPI design sign‑off, safety stock, and inventory optimization.
- Communicate plans and commitments across the organization, including leadership.
- Support IBP/S&OP cycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Source latest demand signals with Meta Demand Planning and Engineering teams.
- Manage optimized rack and commodity‑level supply plans.
- Model production capacity and constraints with Meta ODMs.
- Make trade‑off and allocation decisions in limited material resource environments.
- Monitor inventory positions and propose safety stock adjustments.
- Source planning‑relevant data, maintain organization, and oversee NPI process for AI server rack development.
- Use Meta’s CTB tool for commodity management.
- Use Oracle and internal planning tools.
- Develop new KPIs and automated reports.
- Collaborate with Meta ODMs in Taiwan via weekly video calls.
- Deliver monthly commodity or finished good demand and supply plans on time.
- Ensure minimum 90% feasibility based on supply.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or applicable experience in business (operations, supply chain, finance, economics) or engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain‑related roles: demand, supply, materials, or inventory planning.
- Technical and analytical skills: dynamic models using Google Sheets, Excel (Apps Script, VBA, SQL or Python), data visualizations with Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar.
- Proven communication skills.
- Proficient with planning tools and ERP software (Oracle, SAP, o9, Kinaxis, Anaplan, or custom build).
- Experience in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative, data‑driven environment while independently managing projects.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation varies by location, role, skill set, and experience.
- Base pay range (example): $50,550 to $100,550 (British Columbia/Ontario/New Brunswick).
