Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Assemble products and small components using hand tools and production equipment.
Set up and operate equipment according to work instructions and technical drawings.
Perform product inspection and report quality issues.
Support troubleshooting, equipment checks, and process improvements.
Provide production updates and support operator training.

Education & Experience

Technical school or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
One year of manufacturing experience is preferred.
Experience with equipment operation, process setup, or inspection equipment is an advantage.

Skills

Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.
Basic hand‑tool, soldering, inspection, and troubleshooting skills.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Good attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions

Work in a manufacturing and production environment.
May be exposed to chemicals, oils, adhesives, and sealants used in manufacturing processes.
Flexible working schedule may be required, including shift work or overtime based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

Ability to handle small components and perform repetitive work.
Ability to lift parts weighing up to 9 kg (20 lbs), as required.

Safety Requirements

All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
